A few months ago, when Kat first told me she hoped that I could take pictures of her little girl when she arrived, I thought for sure I’d miss out on being able to. Her due date fell right in the middle of what I then thought would be a busy transition and a big move for my family – and I was SO bummed! So when we found out that we’d be sticking around for a couple more months, I was thrilled to tell her that I could take them after all.
And, last weekend I got to meet little Avonlea. What a sweetie!

We took pictures at Kat and Nate’s gorgeous home, and, of course, we had to get those handsome, proud big brothers of hers in some pictures too.

And, then we sent the boys with grandma and grandpa to get ready for naps so that we could get photos with just Avonlea. Who, by the way, was seriously the easiest newborn to photograph EVER. She was just so peaceful!
Kat found this vintage chair and designed her nursery theme around it – isn’t it perfect for photos?! Gorgeous!
